President Robert Mugabe addresses supporters at Harare Airport, 04 Jul 2008Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe says the opposition must accept him as the country's leader if it wants to hold talks on ending Zimbabwe's political crisis.

Mr. Mugabe spoke at Harare airport Friday after returning from a summit of African leaders who called for Zimbabwe to form a national unity government following Mr. Mugabe's controversial re-election last week.

Black Leopards Namibian duo of Hartman Toromba and Ephraim Tjihonge’s hopes of retaining their PSL status were dashed after going down by a solitary goal to Bay United in the National First Division play-off at the Woolfsons Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Civics beat Ramblers 2-0 on Wednesday night to join Orlando Pirates at the top of the log on 35 points.

Patrick Mkontwana pounced on to a loose ball to open the scoring on 63 minutes while substitute Tugela Tuyeni made it 2-0 in injury time when he shot a corner clearance into the net.

Ramblers had numerous chances especially in the second half, but they could not penetrate Civics’ defence, for whom Jamu Ngatjizeko and Erastus Ndjavera were in excellent form.

Namibia lose to USA, Mexico

Namibia lost its third and fourth games at the Junior Inline Hockey World Championships to the USA and Mexico respectively. Namibia will now face the strong Czech team in the quarterfinals.
