Ananias Ananias rode a great race to win the 100km Namibian Cycle Classic on Sunday morning. Ananias, riding for the Prowealth team, beat team mate Heiko Redecker, Stefan Marggraff and Tjipe Murangi in a sprint to the line to win the 100km event in 2 hours 35 minutes and 34 seconds.

Niall O'Brien used all his first-class experience to compile a crucial 135 as Ireland took control of their vital Intercontinental Cup match against Kenya in Nairobi on Saturday. O'Brien's century, alongside valuable contributions from Alex Cusack and Andre Botha, lifted Ireland to 282 for 3 at the close.

Namibia came seventh out of 14 teams that competed in the Amashova Under 16 Cycling Tour at the Midmar Dam in Howick, Kwazulu Natal from October 1 to 4.
