Reho Falcon thrash Jaguars

Reho Falcon went to the top of the log after thrashing Jaguars 62-8 at the Augustineum field on Saturday.

Reho Falcon dominated all aspects of play as their forwards won the tight exchanges while their backs ran Jaguars ragged.

From the kickoff Reho Falcon camped on Jaguars’ tryline and it was only a matter of time until they broke through.

Fullback Howard Titus opened the scoring with a penalty, before veteran wind Deon Mouton cut through the backline...

Western Suburbs gained revenge by beating Reho Falcon in a rugby Premier League match in Rehoboth on Saturday.

Falcon had beaten Suburbs 19-18 after a late controversial try in their first round match at Suburbs Park on July 12, but this time around Suburbs prevailed 22-21 in another close encounter.

WHS beat HTS in thriller

Windhoek High School (WHS) retained the U19 Super trophy at the Metropolitan Boards Schools Rugby competition after beating Hoer Tegniese Skool (HTS) 22-19 in a thrilling final on Saturday night.

Playing in front of about 3 000 singing fans at the Hage Geingob National Stadium, both teams provided a great spectacle of exciting attacking rugby, as the lead changed hands throughout the match.
