Oneword's two bits

Reading the dailies, I discover the BBA (Bad Brother Africa) has really done it! Can't someone take this unadulterated effluent off the airwaves? Even an NBC discussion makes more sense than this rubbish!
I mean, who in God's whole wide world will want to be subjected to the innate philosophies of these brothers and sisters. And don't tell me we watch just because they are African and "it's a Black Thang!" Balderdash, my father would say! The stuff that belongs in Thomas Crapper's invention stays the same old stuff.
These brothers and sisters are not the best example for our youth! Let Richard get his jollies elsewhere and take this off.
Some of our political friends are very naïve! Lead them on with a statement you know they will disagree with (violently, at times) and they do their damndest to run into the open blade. Have they never heard of psychology?
Take our friend Philistine Ya Nangoloh, for instance, who has beuatifully managed to get the whole nation upset about his ridiculous ICC scare. HE knows they can't do anything, but he keeps on baiting and our Comrades are falling for it hook, line and sinker. Were they to ignore Phil, he would have stopped this form of attack long ago. Ok, he might have tried something else, but, at least, this thread would have been cut short indeed.
One of my friends in the media spoke to me the other day about the ignorance of some of our non-Namibian media colleagues ( Yea, those that come from the land of no milk, no honey, no money, no nothing!).
Don't these guys know that the whole Namibian press corps is a family and that they have all worked together at the same institution at some stage? You don't forget that - even if the one works for Namibia Today and the other for Mr Jacobus Pretorius. On the surface they may differ, but deep down they both laugh at what is happening at their various ends of the political spectrum.
We all have to live!
Looking at the personalised vehicle numbers the other day, I had to grin. I can imagine someone paying to proudly proclaim that he/she is "SWAPO 1", but for some obscure reason I doubt whether we will ever see the high and mighties drive around with "DTA 4 EVA" or "COD VIVA". On the other hand, Nora might go for " Strykvrou".... oh, sorry, I meant "Iron Lady". She has the guts for it!
I know that two wrongs don't make a Raith, but I wish we had more politicians like Nora ... unafraid to stand for something nobody else stands for!
That brings me to the Chief. Which chief, you ask? Hey, man! There IS only ONE chief. He is the one who is trying to line the pockets with Deutschmarks/Euros. Whose pockets? Damned if I know!
I think I have had my two bits worth for now. Toodle-doo
