THanks, Shebeen. I installed and ran RegSeeker on my machine and it says it fixed a lot of things in the registry.

openoffice.org - to get an office suite which is (nearly) as sweet as MS Office ... and it's FREE! It is the only suite I use at home!

MajorGeeks.com - Download Freeware and Shareware Computer Utilities. has a lot of GOOD freeware; so does 9Down.com | Software News & Download. In fact, so does Google.

Then try The GIMP, Scribus, EssentialPIM, CDBurnerXP, etc.

Seek and ye shall find plenty of free stuff! You'll need a large cap to download it all.
