Default Local Area Networking ( LAN ) and other networks.

Local Area Networking or beter known as LAN is a type of network, where several types of networks exist, from small, two station arrangements to networks that interconnect offices in many cities.

This form of networks is the smallest [LAN]. A LAN is formed from coputers in a single building and it can be build at home from the same coponents that are used in office networking. You will see, special home-networking components exists to allow the creation of what is called home area network [HAN].

HAN or home area networks, mostly uses the same hardware components as a LAN. In this case, it is mainly used to share Internet access. Phoneline networks, low-speed wireless and powerline are mainly used for the primary purpose in HAN rather thenenviroments with LAN. Small-office/home-office [SOHO] LANs are very often the referrence for HAN.

The other point is, how does networks work? Hmmmm ... or comparing Broadband and Dialup Modem Internet Access or the types of Broadband Internet Access. Is it beter to have Cable Modems or CATV Networks.
