 | | Johannesburg - President Thabo Mbeki has been recalled by the African National Congress (ANC). Making the announcement on Saturday, ANC Secretary-General Gwede Mantashe said the ANC had decided to recall the President before his term of office expires next year. "We want to ensure that there's certainty, that's why we've taken this decision. This procedure (the recall) will take place to ensure the smooth running of government."
