| Sponsor's Message I happened to be in the company of the current president his entourage that included the N. Angula and other government official. It was a gala held to address foreign investment. Basically, there was not much more room to keep him more than a two feet distance from every one. The president looked calm and jovial as usual and enjoyed a dignified crowd that was only more happy to revel in his company and tthe niceties of the evening. Who was so anxcious and scared? Of course his confused agents who could hardly tell night from day. With those "blind man's" shades at nite. They all looked like chickens with heads chopped off. In such a situation he could use one or two seasoned professionals from the host country and leave the baffoons in the parking lot or back home. | Has happened to me, too, not all that long ago. Had not seen him for quite some time; so he comes towards me and greets me by name. When I tried to shake his hand and do the old left and right, I had to battle to get past these "body" guards ........... even he looked annoyed! |

| This is rather late but I hope it will help, nevertheless. The agency responsible for intelligence in Namibia is called the Namibia Central Intelligence Services (NCIS) and is headed by a Director-General. It does not resort under the Ministry of Safety and Security but the head reports directly to the president. I hope this response is of some assistance to the enquirer. |
