Question Should the politicians and Mayor step down?

I followed various Media reports of the shameful way well paid top politicians as well the Mayor of WHK himself stand guilty of not honouring their debts. Of course having the financial difficulties is not isolated to the said cases, we all may get those times where we struggle to juggle the income to cover all debts. However, after reading the following article from the Edior of Informante, I somewaht agree with the take of this interesting piece of information and opinion.

Please refer here to it: http://www.informante.web.na:8080/in...2177&Itemid=50
let's discuss and vote if the Politicians and the Mayor himself should exit office voluntarily after clearly showing they cannot be trusted and failure to honor their debt also put their management skill under a big question mark.

No, too harsh!!!! You don't throw out the debtor baby with the bathwater!!! People like Geingob and Shikongo are pretty able people - just crack the whip and make them pay all the fines!!!!!!!

Wonder if now they are listed on ITC? Pietro, what happens if I mismanage the affairs of e.g. a company I work for? Imagine I am the CFO of a Company, and fail to run the department efficiently, I am sure I stand to lose my job due to incompetence. So I think, at least the Mayor, whose concern it should have been to ensure optimal operations at the City of WHK, should have a performance evaluation that obviously should conclude incompetence and result in the City to recruit a more formidable candidate......jux saying....we can still deliberate why the top politicians should not given a harsher punishment considering their seniority and being answerable to the Public.....well agree somewhat with Hage being an able minded dude, but what happens in any given society if e.g., a super intelligent commits fraud or is guilty of murder? He goes to jail, irrespective of what mental prowess he may or may not posses.....jux saying

Pietro has a point, but, dear juikk, so have you! Certainly I wouldn't want Al Capone handling my finances or the Godfather running my city.....

Let the facts speak for themselves - so I would call for and fully endorse an independent enquiry into the matter to establish exactly who, when, where, how and why. This process does not necessarily have to driven by the Anti-corruption Commission. However, and whoever - for the reputation of the City Council and the concerned politicans to be restored the public now deserves to hear what went on, and why. The concerned politicians, I'm sure would not object. After all, they don't have aything to hide do they?

Yes Pietro, but then again, as also said elsewhere, change is inevitable, so we going to contineously change the devil we know for the one we don't know anyway, eventually, so why not do the change when we establish the devil we know is not bringing it and borders on being a liability?
