I am constrained by at least two facts to provide my true, unexpurgated response to the above. One concerns the rules of "The Shebeen"and the second the laws of the country on profanity.

In water, all the material heavier than the fluid, such as dirt, oil, rubbish, etc., wil gradually graduate to the bottom. Should be call Namibia the container, the government the water ...... well, then the Ministry of Home Affairs becomes the ................................. I think you know what I mean.

What do you mean?

Be specific, freedom of speech or hide behind half said phrases, what I mean, state clearly what you want to say.

Namibia is in a mess, a bigger mess is still to follow. Thanks to SWAPO and the silent majority that gives power to the cause.

All in All, sumone need to explain the influx of Chinese citizens/ex criminals, what their status is and how we can collectively ship them back, is it this specific ministry's duty to see to it, or the GRN in it's entirety? Please help here

Look - it ain't the best job in town, for sure. But some of the staff members behind the desks at passport control at Windhoek International airport need to either get extended courses in professional conduct, or be shifted to other posts. They are outright grumpy, hostile and rude, and make people feel unwelcome in our country. They have real attitude problems and issues with the colour of people's skin. Talk of reverse racism. I've heard a story where a visting mother was told to wash her child because it was apparently "dirty". I repeat: Some staff members, and they should shape up or ship out. As for the behaviour of the others: It is not acceptable by any standards, especially because you do a job, and one in the name of our country on top of it.

Relative to which or what. If it is compare to other agencies perhaps it fares well, since the rest are equally as messy. The nurses and the hospitals, etc.

NOBODY can be as bad as Home Affairs. It seems (I think I am repeating myself, but then ..) that Home Affairs is the place where people are posted once they have demonstrated that they are completely and utterly useless.

OK, so I have an issue with our international airport, and particularly about the way in which it is being run. I could not believe my eyes the other day: One police officer was on duty at the security check just after passport control, outbound. First this "officer" is on the telephone in his office to someone and chats away on an obviously private call. A queue keeps forming until an irate passenger asks him whether he's on duty, or what? He then quickly puts the phone down, rushes over to the scanner from his office and starts gesturing people to put their luggage in the scanner. Now it was obvious he could not check the scanner and perform all ther other checks on the passengers. Some people just walked through. It was embarassing to say the least. What impression does this leave of our country and its institutions? How safe is the airport with this lax attitude to security?
