The era of peace, fact or myth? After the end of the cold war, also SWAPO were recognised as the sole political party who fights for the freedom of Namibia. ( Big joke of course as we all know, 'cause during that time USA still supported us in the fight against SWAPO and her Cuban, East German and Russian allies, we were really hard nuts to crack).

Not to loose my point, the old east block was dismanteled, troops were called back from all strange countries to get back home - from Afganistan to Sri Lanka, Angola to South Africa and Cambodia. Almost 150 armed conflicts with more then 30 million deaths has the world experienced since the end of WWII, but the new amacible agreement between the Super Powers slacked the regional conflicts. The summer of 1990 was the start of the beating of the drums of war of Allah. The Iraq dictator, Saddam Hussein, calls the Muslims around the world for Jihad, the Holy War against USA. For the Zionist arch enemy, war clouds were in the air with tar the total deployment of C-Weapons with his words:" I swear to God, our fire will guzzle half of Israel."

Saddam Hussein had the biggest weapon arsenal in the third world, from nerve gas to B-weapons, from superbombs to misiles, who were a thread to Tel Aviv and Rhiyad. The West created this monster and Frankenstein, discovered in autumn 1990 by Hans Heino Koplietz, expert for the Middle East, London Control Risk Group.

Also in the 1970's the USA and Germany supported the Shah Resa Pahlevi with vast proportions of weapons supply, in the interest of the west against the Ayatolla Khomeini according to the Washington Post.

The failure repeated itself. Also Saudi Arabia, with a troop deployment of 76 000 soldiers, received from the USA 21 Billion US $ military suplies.

Saddam Hussein, in a world wide action, invited more then 4 000 Arab Scientists from Egypt, Marrocco, Algeria, Syria, Iraq, for the buildup of military might. Where did these poor Palestinians suddenly have money from to fund war development of that magnitude in another country? The French technology from MMB and daughter group Euromissile supported Saddam Hussein with the tanks and fighter planes.

Most companies operate without moral values. Who is then to blame for the brutal killings? Dual-use-goods, for millitary and civilian use, these exporters of death, share in the killings of the innocent, when taking the payments of fat cheques or does anyone have a better argument before I continue with more facts?

Some things to chew on, so open your eyes, look clearly who is standing near you in the banks. Money in the banks does not mean angels in heaven.

Maybe one could call it nit-picking, but I really do object to the (continuing) use of the word "terrorist" in conjunction with SWAPO when not speaking from a purely historical perspective.

Whatever the motive may have been in the beginning, it is undeniable that without the 'promptings' of SWAPO we (Namibia!) would still not be politically autonomous. Note that I did not use "independent", because in our day and age there are always some politicial inter-dependencies in some form or another.

Oneword, don't be so sensitive, man!!! Let them live in the past!!!! It's cheaper, I bet!

I want to know who is the "us" in the following sentence "...still supported us in the fight against SWAPO".

I thought that "us" has long been "as" (like in ashes, like in burnt wood, like GONE)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
