MORE HATE SPEECH AND CRIME PLAGUE NATION

NSHR condemns the several politically motivated hate speech and crime incidents involving various actors and occurring in the country during the last three weeks. The said confrontational incidents were committed in various parts of the country by both supporters and officials from the two main rival political parties, viz. the SWAPO Party (SP) and Rally for Democracy and Progress (RDP). Some of these acts were also being directed against Police officers.
