Question The Phoenix a modern day Moon landing fable?

While surfing the net in General, I came accross the much talked about Phoeniix Mars lander. I provide various links around discussion and news about it.including it's home page Phoenix Mars Mission - Home
Questions is that there has been debate around NASA pulling a fast one on the world's spectators, so how much truth is to this popular newbee on the space travel landscape?

Yea, juikk, normally I would also have my doubts. Red Bull, btw, has even made an ad of the 1969? landing.

When Geology.com, however, treats it as serious, I hesitate to call it a hoax:

Thanx Oneword, I guess you have a point, the link you provided seem more real than the ones I have hereto been surfing......but one really cannot help but wonder, the visuals provided seem to have an awkwardly familiar look to them with the ones which were fabricated for the Moon lie....not to forget the extensive use of artists impressions instead of the realdeal....LOL!!!

Let's change "Only God knows and he won't tell" into "Only NASA knows and they won't tell"!
