Default Grade ten failures

Hi what do all think about grade tens going back to school. I think that is a pretty wild and crazy idea.

Wild and cray it is. Bottom line is that it's rewarding failure so the Government's decision not to allow them back to redo Grade 10 in schools but to rather have them enrol in Namcol to redo the subjects they failed is the right decision. We all get one chance at passing Grade 10 - an important edicational milestone - and with the right attitude, amount of study and seriousness and commitment any scholar should be able to pass it. If they don't there is nobody else to blame but themselves.

Given Namibia's peculiar past and its place in the anals of the history of human development, I would suggest that educational opportunities could be extented to reflect that well orchestrated phenomenon. Education could be encouraged, subsidised and the pupils as well as their parents and teachers assisted in any way possible. However, given the prevalent political environment, perhaps it suffices to treat the learning environment here at equal footing with that of the rest of the world. Why grades could not be repeated as frequently as possible all along is a mistery. Why now all of a sudden this particular one is allowed, is politically motivated. Perhaps it is good for only one person or ultimately for many, it will remain a mistery.

Well, um sure a bigger numba of 'majority' u know whats, must've have failed, and ya, apart from it, possibly linked to a wish to be voted for come next elections..LOL, else in general, without prejudice, it is not a bad idea that the blonde Gals & Boyz be allowed to repeat till they b blue in da face, makes sure we do not generate a struggling & intellectually challenged nation and future leaders, not all pips get da message the first time around....well I agree provided dat it be kept that way from now on of course, not stopped spmewhere along the line when the honorables got their votes for the next period of 'reign' & couldn't careless till about a few months before da nex elections
